Since Patch 1.6 was released to the test realms, our developers have been watching the use and power of the new Fury tree... Bloodthirst in particular.
As it stands, the designers are looking to give Bloodthirst a boost in power. When they changed it to its current iteration in 1.6, they were conservative in its relative power. They did not want to create a vastly overpowered ability only to reduce its potency later after Warrior players everywhere frantically abandoned their previous talent specialization to go Fury. This way, they can increase its power judiciously if they feel it is not performing up to their standards. A small boost should be on the way.
It is easy to compare Mortal Strike to Bloodthirst, but remember to compare the Fury tree to the Arms tree as a whole. We don't want to give Fury a more or less cloned "ultimate" ability to that of Arms; both paths should be comparable in overall power with different strengths and specializations.
Thank you for your patience in testing the changes thus far. We are listening. :)

Q u o t e: Before you start complaining, let's figure out how they are buffing it, and let's find out if it's going in to Tuesday's patch.
Caydiem, response?
The boost will not be added to 1.6.0, but it shouldn't wait until the next big patch, either. As far as what form it will take, I believe it will be a buff to the attack power percentage.

Q u o t e: Caydiem, thank you for the quick response. Very quick and to the point, however, one last question.
Since you are saying the buff to it cannot be added to the 1.6.0 patch, you are clearly saying it's coming out Tuesday, which is fine. I assume it's because you still want to test it, but you have a test server up in which I think every warrior has at least checked it out, with that data, why can it not be in Tuesday's patch?
You have to understand that although many warriors are happy with MS, many want to experiment and try other things (ie: duel wield.) To give us an ability that right now sadly is worse than the current version of Bloodthirst, it's basically a huge nerf to us. Why not just release the change a week after when you have the info? I doubt anyone will switch to fury spec until it's buffed, I think the community can agree.
As I understand it, the reason why it's being put in later on is to make sure that the correction is the proper course of action. Some of you folks have been very dedicated in testing the content, and we appreciate that, but the developers are of the mind that Fury Warriors should be experimenting to the fullest with gear and weapons to see what works best with the new talent line. As such, they're leaving it in as is with this patch to observe the effects and make certain that their judgement on boosting the talent is correct.
