Ok what gives? I check the forums at work and come back from lunch and find 2 locked threads (one due to degrading material) and another thread where people are bashing T.
C'mon people take some pride in yourselves and in your class. show some dignity, just because we may not be getting TM as a trainable skill asap or because we're not getting rage on shielded targets. Grow up, adapt, deal with it. Dont shoot the messanger.
All in all today is a said day to call myself a warrior. Hope these forums turn around and be proud of what you do. You dish out insane DPS. you hold huge lumbering beasts at bay, protecting your raid and you know what. we've done it for how long? we dont NEED these changes (i'll agree some would be nice and even things out) but the truth is we're better then this guys and gals.

No I don't.
If you expect this message board to function as a complaint department or a place where you 'place your order and the first available service person will be with you as soon as possible', you are not understanding the function of these forums.
I find that people who cite customer service are looking for a representative to be obsequious and bow to whim. They aren't looking for debate. THey don't want to have an idle conversation. They want their improtant message forwarded to the devs and implemented, post haste.
There are many reasons I believe this which I won't go into here, suffice to say, many have been trained to view any and all 'services' as demand-driven and to fill customer wants on a 1-to-1 basis. On these forums, this is an impossibility.
While it is certainly part of my job to listen to various opinions(not all reasonable or calm), this is not an excuse to say that I have to take abuse. It's counter-productive to any real conversation, as can be clearly seen by todays matters.
A final point I would like to make about the function of these forums:
It's not my job to be better than you at whatever class is under discussion. My play experience augments my job experience which augments my discussion with people who have developed this game. My experience with the game is based on more than play experience. It's based on developmental strategy I have watched grow in my time here. It's based on experience with elements that are not readily apparent or even discernable from the players end.
It is my job to understand posts made, which is not hard when posts made are understandable.
If the problem is so obvious to the uninformed or ignorant then it shouldn't be difficult to explain, right?
I have plenty of experience in playing and working on this game to understand what is being pitched. What happens more often than not is that people resort to real experience to avoid explanation.
"Oh, anyone who PvPs a moment will understand."
This is dismissal of conversation, plain and simple.
The purpose of these boards are for you to provide feedback on issues, because you have large and varied play experience as a whole. No one person can compete with a player base's collective experience. If you can't sum up more than emotional ranting about issues that concern you, you obviously don't have a grasp on the issue yourself, so it's irrelevant whether I 'intimately know your class' or what have you.
Now that that's off my chest, back to searching the bug database!

It's me. I forgot.
Not everyone who deals with customers is in customer service. Just leave it at that. You aren't going to be changing anyone's mind on this point.
