Subject: Suggestion: Stormstrike Tweak
It's pretty clear that in just about any situation that if you have any kind of healing spell you're expected to use them. This creates a need for mana for Shaman, discouraging us from using our damage spells.

But what if we could cast our spells without fear of being low on mana when we need to start spot healing?

My suggestion is a small tweak on Stormstrike, keep it pretty much the same but add one thing:

Stormstrike
X% of Base Mana Y yd range
Instant Cast Z second cooldown
Gives you an extra attack. In addition, the next 2 sources of Nature damage dealt to the target are increased by 20% and will not interrupt the caster's Mana regeneration. Lasts 12 sec. This attack does not interrupt Mana regneration.

With this change, Enhancement Shaman won't have to worry about running out of mana so much in case they need it to spot heal in emergencies. Also, if you really wanted to make Stormstrike desireable, you could allow it to reduce the Mana cost of the subsequent Nature spells.

(And I *STILL* say Stormstrike's debuff should affect Fire and Frost damage.)

Thanks for the feedback, Badomen. We like the problem you're trying to solve, but think we've hit that somewhat in reducing the cost of Stormstrike. We'll continue to evaluate its cost and overall impact of use for the Enhancement Shaman.

Players should also know that we have considered adding both Fire and Frost to Stormstike's debuff, but simply decided against it for patch 1.11. It is still under heavy consideration for an improvement to be implemented post patch 1.11, however.

I'll keep you in the loop.
