to solve our mana regen woes, what if lightning shield allowed for somthing like 15% of mana regeneration to continue while casting much like mage armor does. or maybe even bump it up to a higher % since unlike mage armor it goes away after 3 sucessful hits against us. maybe even make it a talent or make it part of improved lightning shield.
what do you think?

I've seen quite a few discussions concerning mana regeneration capability in general. This is something we generally prefer to give to the core caster classes. That isn't to say we don't want to add "staying power" into the Shaman talents, but one that requires the Shaman to place great emphasis on Spirit isn't the right direction as far as we're concerned.
We'll continue to evaluate this aspect of the Shaman, we promise.

we generally prefer to give to the core caster classes... Guys, if you're going to try and dissect everything I say, why are you requesting information? And no, this isn't directed at the entire community. Just those that insist on being unreasonable.

Every non-core casting class in the game could have it, and such wouldn't change the fact that we prefer not to give it to anyone but the core caster classes. If we add additional staying power to the Shaman, we'd prefer not to go a direction that puts more dependency upon Spirit. That's all that I'm saying.[ post edited by Eyonix ]

I know you dont like to be "dissected" but you just called a Druid a main caster class....They are the healing hybrid...If any classes in the hybrids are more caster, its the Shaman.
ANd the shama would like a +% of total mana regen..not spirit.
