Subject: Just a quick note.
I brought up a few issues you folks had mentioned when I spoke with the developers yesterday... namely a lot of the dodge/parry/block oddities.

The intended functionality is as follows:

Attacks from behind can supposedly be dodged, but they are not supposed to be parried or blocked.

Slice and Dice should not miss.

Blind, at the least, should not be able to be parried.

I explained that you folks had reported occurrences that fell outside the intended functionality (brought up a couple other mentioned bugs along the same vein, like Slice and Dice seeming to have a "hidden" casting time of some type) and the class designers will be looking into it.

Thanks for the heads up.

Lidion: it's not time for your review yet. The developers are not reviewing Rogues at the moment. Smaller changes and bug fixes, yes. But if you're expecting me to come in here and give you answers and upcoming changes for every single one of the gripes voiced here, you're going to be disappointed. It's not that time yet.

   My Rogue is an "alt"?

My Rogue, which I've played since day one, which has seen more end-game content than I've seen on any of my other characters -- including my Druid -- combined, which levelled with no help or twinkage, which has over 50 days played, is an "alt"?

No.

I've said it's a fun character, and it is. But it's nothing less than a main character to me, and it'd be folly to think otherwise.

Lidion, if you want to voice your concerns constructively, do so, and they'll be passed along, but this? This isn't it.

Q u o t e:
My blind WAS PARRIED.

I remember this specifically because it happened a less than 48 hours ago.
I specifically remember this because when it happened I #@%$!ed to my brother-in-law who also plays a rogue who, in response, made some sarcastic comment about deflecting a cloud of dust thrown at your face with a sword.

I know for certain blind CAN be parried.. and I'm fairly certain I've had backstab/ambush parried before, though I admit I can't remember specific instances.

And don't ask me to give the conditions... the conditions were "I pressed blind", "<mob 00xx> parried your blind".

I think you may have misread the intent of this post. This is pointing out how things should operate, not how they're operating now, and outright states that they're looking into the anomalies like the very one you bring up.
