Rogues have power, everyone knows it, and rogues fear losing it.
The truth is when an individual obtains power or more to the effect, the illusion of power, the said individual will do what they can to hold onto it.
Now, I have seen so much sh*t flying around because this video that it only stands to reason that rogues want to hold on to the power they have.
Yes I have a rogue and also have a 48 warlock..I left my warlock to rot a long time ago because I couldn't stand being taunted by blizzard anymore.
Now, I don't care how much you flame me because you will only prove my point more. That being said let the flames come.
Warlocks: We take it up the ass so you don't have to!

At this point, I don't believe rogues fear being nerfed. And I don't believe they should fear it, because from what I've heard from the devs up to this point, they feel that the rogue is in a pretty good place.
But with some really insightful and thoughtful argument, I believe the devs will consider enhancing or at least addressing some issues in the key areas for the rogue class, as noted in the stickied topics above.

Q u o t e: No one likes to be nerfed, whether justified or not. Its just that simple. If you have played this game for the past year you know that many classes have been nerfed (ok "ballanced") so it is understandable that others might anticipate their class receiving a nerf if they haven't yet. Especially rogues since so many players complain about their stuns and their ability to completly lock a player down to the point he/she cannot respond to an attack. Afterall Blizzard themselves did say no one should lose control of their character for some time. Hence the fear rogues have of seeing a nerf in the future.
If you read through the history of patch notes, you'll find that class improvements have been much more frequent than class nerfs. However, it is always the nerfs that stay in your memory, rather than the improvements.

Q u o t e: I will tell you what sticks in my memory, the justification given to the last fear nerf was that "its not fun for players to lose control of their character."
Yet, apparantly this same outlook doesn't apply to Rogues and their stuns, can you explain this?
Wow, you have a very long memory. :/
If you also recall, Sap was also affected by that change.
