Subject: Drysc, A question, please respond.
I will try to keep this short, but bear with me. There is only one aspect of the Rogue community that has me truly concerned. The fact that in the end game raids there simply is no good reason to take a rogue over another more effective DPS class that has some form of utility. The idea, that after months of raiding, there will come a time when my services are no longer needed. I sincerely do not want to be down sized from my guilds raids.
I would just like some form of assurance that rogues will still be a class that has a place in end game raids when all is said and done.
If this is not the case then I see no reason to continue gearing up my rogue, I will leave him as he is and just make him a farmer for my hunter so that he can participate in the end game raids.
I am not angry, or ranting, I would honestly just like to know which way I should focus my attentions.

I think that the class roles (in group situations) are mostly defined to specific tasks and those roles are probably going to remain largely unchanged, for now at least. Making alterations to underlying class roles at this point is unlikely simply due to impending game-wide changes.

We are building a forum of extraordinary magnitude.
