Subject: CHALLANGE!! **throws down the gauntlet**
So here I am sitting at work with some time to spare and WAMMO! The idea hits me like Hunter slammin into his kited Rogue!!

Drysc... or for that fact ANY Blue who has a 60 Rogue. I Challange you to step into the ring with a 40 Hunter who has been succesful in kiting a 60 Rogue to death.

I want at least 6 people Fraps'in the encounter and go best 3/5.

If the Hunter beats you even once... I demand a full apology to this community of players and an email address that all the fraps can be sent to for not only the Devs but Buzzard's <-- yes this is a goose, staff with an equal demand on an open apology to the entire Rogue Community from them also.
My Shadow's the only one that walks beside me...

Your choice to chase a hunter out in the open when the basic class functions hamper your ability to get in close at that point, is probably not the best strategy. There are going to be classes that counter some classes better than others, and the trick is finding your limitations and producing a strategy to help overcome those counters. It's not impossible.

If you aren't enjoying a class, then I would agree wholeheartedly that you may enjoy playing something different. That doesn't mean that an issue with a specific class should cause that, just that not everyone is going to enjoy every class, which has nothing to do with rogues specifically.

The review will focus mainly on talent changes, and I'm not going to apologize for relating the information I am intended to relate.

My recent posts have in no way been intended to shy you away from the class, but I'm being fully truthful and upfront with how the review will progress. Many rogues have specific ideas of what the review will include, and bringing those ideas back to near what the review will accomplish is going to save a lot of grief in the long run.

Q u o t e:
So Drysc... aside from talent changes which may be necessary (such as imp Backstab in Combat tree and such others that don't really make sense) are we likely to see any other changes that you can speak of yet? I know you know all our current gripes (scaling-eviscerate, dependency on 5-minute timers, etc.) but do you know of anything besides talents that are likely to be modified in the future?

The expansion will allow us to expand upon the abilities and talents for all classes beyond what we currently are limited to. What those will actually be and what concerns may be addressed by them, I don't know yet.
