Subject: Segesstion: Agillity Increases Run Speed
Ever been in a BG and dont want to blow a 5
minute cooldown on a sprint or blind on a mage or lock that is like .5 feet out of range and all you can do is scream SOB as their dots tick you down?

I know theres + run spead to boots and theres PVP boots that have it as a base but since agillity at least in my mind means how fast you are, shouldnt that mean you can run slightly faster as well?
This could go accross the board to all classes with a slight increase to speed like 80 agi = 1% increase so that its not overpowered but allows for you to close that small gap w/o blowing a cooldown which would be better suited for something else.
Just and idea i had.

In my mind agility equates to 'quick dexterity', or being able to make precise movements rapidly. The definition really has nothing to do with what it actually grants, although the names do play at least some small part in their use.

While I think that the suggestion is good, and that some amount of balance could be reached regarding agility=speed, it would completely change many aspects of the game. It's a change that is probably just too widely sweeping to be considered seriously.

I do like the energy=sprint suggestion I have seen a few times, and I think that could at least have a possibility to be implemented. I don't think that it's a likely change, but it's an interesting proposal nonetheless.

Q u o t e:
I personally would vote for a 15% or better passive built in speed boost. No talents required.

Of course you would, and I want my hands to shoot fire and Twix candy bars, but such a change in speed has to be approached carefully. I fully understand the issues in being able to maintain proximity to another player, believe me, but even if addressed it would likely be addressed with a light touch, at least to begin.
