Yes, that's exactly it. /rolleyes
They present one idea, regardless of the quality or thought put into it, and then rely on a single word for others to back it up. There are certainly exceptions, but they are rare, and 'training' the forum community to hold proper conversational threads, instead of posting petitions, is far more valuable than making judgments on the quality of a petition thread and its potential for moderation/deletion.
Personally I would like to make 'QFT' a moderated term for the same reason, but I don't see that happening.
It doesn't equate to a real world petition where an idea is formulated and passed through the hands of a large committee, the idea/proposal could take months or even years before it even reaches 'petition status'. Forum petitions unfortunately generally equate to spam.
If you want to propose an idea, then propose it, and be willing to hold a logical conversation about it.[ post edited by Drysc ]
