No, I think you're confusing terms. A hotfix is a serverside only patch, it requires no download on your part and will usually not require the realms to be taken down.

I fully realize that specifics are wanted, and they would make all the difference, unfortunately it isn't information I have available to give.
If I did, I would certainly become Drysc, King of Rogues, known for my gentle demeanor and swift, silent jumping techniques.
