I just noticed after dismounting I am unable to issume commands to my pet imp.
When I right click the portrait of my imp, I do not get any options.
This is with no addons running.
And when I relog if fixes it, but re-occurs once I mount/dismount again.
Also, the battlegrounds spirt healers still rez my imp if I brought a different pet to the first instance... that is a old bug, that is sipposed to be workign as intended.... bleh..
In a nutshell If I wish to go to many battlegrounds in a row using just my pet felhunter for example I am unable to.
Since if I die, it will spit me out with a imp, not a felhunter. I have to re-summon the felhunter if I wish to use it again... When if the dumb NPC just rezzed me with my last pet, I would stop complaining.[ post edited by Morbos ]

These are both known issues. As a workaround for the first issue, try selecting your imp and right-clicking your target portrait rather than the pet portait. The second issue also has a workaround. Summon the pet you would like to use after entering the battleground rather than before it. I understand this may still be inconvenient, but it is the best short-term solution we have at the moment.
