Subject: Question about Dodge % and agility
Has the formula for dodge % been redone for hunters this patch also? The reason I'm asking this is, on the live servers right now, my hunter with 357 Agility has about a 17.5% dodge rate. However, on the test server with the 15% agility boost from Lightning Reflexes, boosting my total agility to 411, my dodge rate has actually decreased to 16.49%. My Armor, attak power, and Crit% all increased normally from the agility bost, but my dodge% went down. Is this intended?

That is correct Xiltyn. When talents are changed as drastically as the hunter's, it is not always obvious how the changes affect out characters. In this case you lose the 3% dodge bonus from the old Lightning Reflexes but you gain an increase in dodge percentage with the new Lightning Reflexes. The exact value of the change will vary depending on the hunter as most agility values will vary.

This is similar to many reports that damage is decreasing even though players are reporting higher attack power values. In that case, the loss in damage was due to players having Ranged Weapon Specialization on their live character but using a talent build without Ranged Weapon Specialization on the test servers. Ranged Weapon Specialization increases damage but does not affect your attack power. I hope this clears things up a bit for those who may have been confused.
