Subject: Test Realm Changes, 6/1/05
Here are the changes from the maintenance yesterday:

  • All guard regions relating to a specific side/faction are disabled after said faction's Lieutenants and Commanders have been slain.
  • The reputation reward for killing a General has been doubled.
  • Paladin Divine Shield will now cancel any nefarious flag capturing endeavors. That is, Paladins cannot use flags at Towers or Graveyards while their Divine Shield is active.
  • Superior/Major Mana and Healing Draughts now stack up to a maximum of 10 and are restricted for use only in Alterac Valley.
  • Alterac Heavy Runecloth Bandages now work inside Alterac Valley.
  • Druid of the Grove NPCs no longer spawn treants. They have been given a new spell to compensate for this loss.
  • Alliance players will now correctly gain contribution points for destroying Horde towers.
  • PvP Player Kill Turn-in Quests now reward an equal amount of their respective side's reputation. For example, if Alliance Player X turns in Darkspear Troll Mojo, they will gain faction with Darnassus AND Stormpike.
  • The reputation rewards for the turn-ins associated with Wing Commanders Ichman, Mulverick, Jeztor, and Vipore have been increased to compensate for the difficulty in seeing these heroes home.
  • Korrak the Bloodrager is now larger and uses a different skin color to represent his inner turmoil and angst.
  • All Graveyard and Tower neutral states have had their timers increased from 2 minutes to 5 minutes. This has been done to better allow players to react to captures/sieges.
