Subject: Default UI - Cannot move spells to sidebars
I have, through some rather annoying trial and error discovered that the previously available behaviour of click and drop for spells no longer works for sidebars (or main bars).

Example 1: In 1.11 Live I can hold shift and click any icon on my bars (main or side) and move them around. That's just a normal click and move the mouse, and drop/swap.

On the PTR, current build (as of 8/11/06) I must now hold shift and drag the icons. Which leads me to...

Example 2: On the PTR, in order to perform ANY move of icons, whether it is from bar to bar, or spellbook to bar, you MUST have the spellbook open, or else the sidebars will not appear. This is completely different than what is happening on live realms, and is REALLY frustrating when trying to move abilities or created macros around.

I can only assume this is a bug since it has never happened until now. Please change it back. The "new" way really sucks. :(

   Hi Tiashala,

It sounds like you have "Lock Action Bars" selected in the interface options. It's on the second page of the new interface menu.

If this behavior is still happening with that option turened off please let us know.
