In the Troll cave right next to the Snowfall Graveyard, there is a goblin escort quest in the middle of it. (Joys! Yes!)
We get to it, unsure of which way the goblin paths to exit the cave, we chose the clear the wrong side (Dangit! Ok, that's life, learning experiences are hard sometimes)
*Problem* This lil escortee has a large ego! He doesnt stay with his rescuees! If we pulled the mob before the mob attack him, he just kept on going his merry way (even if we were attacking a mob to clear his path) Is this working as intended?

This is actually working as intended with this escort quest.
Master Engineer Zinfizzlex does indeed have a large ego, and he will not always stop to help you fight the Winterax Trolls.
Keep in mind though that this is not an escort mission that enters into your quest log. You do not need to stay with Zinfizzlex throughout the escort to get him home safely.
