Subject: 45 minute Baron run for Tier 0.5? |

I've heard rumors about the 4th piece of the set requiring a completed Baron run with a 45-minute timer that starts pretty much right when you walk into the instance. Given the nerf down to five-man caps, I can't see this as being remotely possible for anyone who actually needs the Tier 0.5 gear.
Can anyone confirm this?

We did a lot of internal testing on the timed Baron Run. We're now anxious to get your testing.
Is this challenging? Yes. Will we reward you for completing it? By all means. Not only is this the gateway to 3 epic quest items for your dungeon sets, but completing the timed Baron run has other perks to it (outside of the quest chain).
Please keep trying. Refine your strategies. The purpose of putting things on the PTR is not solely for testing, but for tuning as well.[ post edited by Tigole ]

We were concerned about this too. We made sure when we ran our internal test to use non-optimal groups as well. Once the internal test groups found their strategies, the optimal groups were beating the test in the 30-35 minute timeframe and the non-optimal groups were clocking in at 35-40. They were all geared up in Scholo/DM/Strath/BRS gear. No epics.
