Good evening all,
This evening we have reversed our previous decision to shut down the 1.9.0 Public Test Realm Phase and have released another update to the Public Test Realm client which is now available for download. This new client contains many bug fixes that we have been working over the last few days, the most important of which and the reason for the PTRs being brought back online is the fix to the client-server de-sync issue that many of you were reporting as being rampant on the PTRs during this phase of testing.
The reason why we are brining the servers back online is so that we can have a widespread test of this bug-fix. If you were previously able to reproduce the client-server de-sync issue and you are able to log into the PTR server over the next few days, I would like to ask that you attempt to reproduce the issue with this new client.
Reports as to the status of the bug, both positive and negative (fixed or not) would be appreciated -- please post all such reports as a response to this thread.
My thanks to everyone who has participated in the 1.9.0 test phase thus far and my extended thanks to everyone who helps us test this bug fix while the PTR servers are back online over the next few days.

Q u o t e: Please reopen the character copy transfer again.
Sure! We are currently working on resetting the character copy limit back to 2 for testing purposes. You should see your character copy limit reset within the new few hours.
Additionally, we are aware of the server stability issues that are currently causing players to be disconnected every 5-10 minutes. We are working to resolve this issue now.
Edit: Added information regarding server stability.[ post edited by motive ]
