Effect (for the highest rank, level 58?): Causes an explosion of holy light around the caster, causing 190 to 210 Holy damage to all targets within 10 yards.
Cost: 300 mana
Cast Time: Instant
Cooldown: 5 seconds
Revert Holy Nova back to what it used to be like (supplementary AoE damage). It's not universally useful, but that's ok because it's not the 31 point talent anymore. Should it do more damage? Maybe trade lower cooldown for non-instant casting (say, 3 second cooldown for 1.5 casting time)?
Spirit of Redemption
requires 30 points in Holy
1 point talent
Effect: Heals all friendly targets within 10 yards for (level * 20) instantly, and for (level * 20) over the next 12 seconds.
Cost: 100% of remaining mana
Cast Time: Instant
Cooldown: 30 minutes
Spirit of Redemption becomes something like an AoE Lay on Hands. It's a triggered effect (as opposed to just going off when you die, a suboptimal scenario for the priest at best). Should it have a lower cooldown? I like the idea for making it a possible party saver, something that you can use when you're low on mana and need an instant hp boost for your party. That's why I like the 100% mana cost, but maybe some fixed mana cost would be better?

I'm going to let the talent calculator reveal the specific changes in-store surrounding Holy Nova and Spirit of Redemption, however, I can't help but allow it to leak that both are being improved in the sexiest of ways.
The changes to the three talent trees are still being finalized, so you'll have to remain in the dark a little longer.
Also, I'm hoping to announce the improvements to priest specific racials tomorrow.
