Hey folks just rolled up a priest to occupy my time on non-raid nights and I was wondering.
1) For leveling is a priest like a mage gear wise? All "of the Eagle" gear for int and sta...or does +spirit help with the grind? Keeping in mind I already have two 60's and a very helpful guild so keeping this guy geared and with a full bag of water won't be a problem.
2) Holy or Shadow for leveling? I hate grouping with folks below level 40...Most don't know what the hell they are doing (or I don't...all a matter of perspective). Reasons and why.

1.) Intellect is good to have, as it means more manna for more heals. Spirit is good so that you regenerate your mana quicker between fights, and even if you are in the middle of a fight. Myself, I went for Spi, then Int, then Sta.
2.) Going down the Shadow tree is a very nice way to solo, and that is the tree I stuck with. The Holy tree is a bit slower, but it is still doable. Eyonix is going pure Holy, and he is having a great time leveling. The choice is really yours.
Fact: Fangtooth drives a monster truck.
