Caydiem and/or other CMs, just one simple question...
Are you happy with the changes made to the Paladin class?
I know you are not responsible for any of them, I am not trying to suggest you are. I just simply want your opinions.

If ever I voice my personal opinion, I prefer it is informed to the absolute best of my ability.
In this case, my opinion means nothing. I am not a level 60 Paladin, and while I understand the basics, that does not mean my opinion on the changes amounts to anything in this situation.
In short, I'm not voicing it because the worth of my opinion pales before your own.
Good daycycle, Citizen!

Q u o t e: Let me translate that for you all, I work for blizzard and I know this patch is aweful and shameful and down right wrong but I can't say that or I'll get introuble.
Thanks, but I don't need your "translation", as that isn't remotely what I said. Kindly let my words speak for themselves.

Q u o t e: Well, completely dodged the question. You read the concerns and passed them to the developers, you've read the discussions on every forum. And yet, you chose to claim ignorance.
I am rather disappointed in you Cay.
But, the question is open to all the CMs. I know it has been stated that at least one of them plays a Paladin. Perhaps that CM would deem themselves worthy of sharing their thoughts with the community?
Where in the world does it say ignorance?
Dyermaker, I don't share my personal opinions hardly at all on these forums -- for ANY class. They don't factor into the feedback process in the slightest and they only serve as incendiaries to the people who disagree with me: "Blizzard believes X is Y!" I can never separate the person behind Caydiem from the fact that I am a Blizzard representative as long as I post under this account.

I can't identify myself as Caydiem, either, else again, I'm representing Blizzard. ;)

Q u o t e: No one is a 60 paladin Cay, don't try to pull that arguement on us.
There are several on the development team, actually. (Yes, before you argue, legitimate characters on live realms that have levelled from 1-60 with no cheating of any kind, levelling and gaining gear just as you do.)

How many of them actually play their paladins?
Every one I mentioned plays them regularly.

Q u o t e: Caydiem, this arguement about Paladin's and the Devs playing is a thing of the moment. We know how frustrating it may be right not to be dealing with us, and I apologize in advance.
To us, this is an issue of many, many months. You don't have to wait for anything. Once again it's not you personally, most of us <3 what you've done to keep us in the know. But just so you know, before you, there was no word unless it was an official word from Eyonix.
We never, ever got the Devchat all the other classes had. You personally contributed to the Druid community wether it was for official knowledge or not. You weren't an official poster for their class, but you were a face. A face of support.
We never had that. Ever. We live in a forum community where most CM's, including the one that spent most his time here, being Horde mainly as the preferred faction. You have to understand, no other class is so locked down to the Alliance like we are. No other class shares this kind of bias. Except for the Shaman, and you don't see them suffering the torment or jadedness that these forums suffer.
Understand that this is not a little thing that sparked here and there. It's been boiling for months. I know you're not trying to patronize us through your words, but it comes off that way only because I don't think you can truly understand. You're healing old wounds Cay.
Real old salty bastards, that have fallen in love with someone who seems to never love him back. A lost, pathetic love with a game that is almost merciless in it's flames and it's teasing. We're tired, but thankful...and perhaps a little foolish for beleiving? I'd hate to think that.
Right now your write-up is going to verify wether many, many players have been wasting their lives on a game that will never seek to even come close to their satisfaction. It's inevitable for many to suffer this fate, but it must come. We need some kind of closure, and I thank you no matter what happens.
I read this the first time, Krysta. Thank you for at least trying to make it somewhat topical, but I don't appreciate you pasting it into every thread in which I'm active.

Dyermaker, my "championing" of issues in the Hunter forum did NOT mean personal agreement; it meant the Hunters were after answers on those issues. Kindly do not imply that, because I am attempting to get answers on specific issues, I share the players' mindset on said issues. If I did my job that way I would be a poor Community Manager indeed.
Your perception of how I've worked in the past is incorrect, to be blunt.
