Have any idea when the mages will be getting there talents looked at? Or any idea when will be getting anything at all?
You want Mages to keep conjuring water?

Unfortunately, I do not have any specific schedule for this. I think your second question may be slightly revealing and I wish to expound.
Development considers this class better off, in terms of balance and playability, than some other classes. Due to this consideration, not much has been drastically altered with the basic mechanics of the class. Patches have come and gone and mages remain fairly similar to what the class was at release. I think this sense of abandonment or neglect may stem from the fact that this class (and another I can think of)hasn't had the changes and attention that may have been directed at other classes. You look around at everyone else getting buffs and say "why not me?". Perfectly understandable.
While I agree there are issues that affect the class, some are also issues which affect more than your class alone. We would like to deal with these issues in a fashion that does not disrupt things in a broader sense. So while fire-resist gear causes issues for fire-spec'ed mages in PvP, I don't think the devs consider it to be a class-breaking issue and are working at it from a broader end than just tinkering with specific class mechanics.
At any rate, the review will come. Will update when more info becomes available.
Do you see the forest or the trees?
