Did you catch that? I actually read the manual before I played the game. Assuming what was in it to be indictive of the game, how wrong I was.

Unfortunately, we do not have the technology to remotely patch your manual to keep it up to date with the changes that occur within this MMO. When that technology becomes available, I'm sure we would like to apply it for such a purpose.

With over 1 million manuals in North America alone, no, it would not make sense to revise the manual. Updated information has to be transmitted digitally. Every patch note is documented and displayed when you patch. Updating the manual would simply mean it would become outdated again and effectively making an action like that zero-sum.
