Subject: Regarding the pre-requisite to Arcane Mind
   Hi Tseric

I kinda like to spec Arcane Instability and Arcane mind helps me fill up the points. Any chance you could talk the developers to make Arcane Resilience not a pre-requisite to Arcane Mind?

Under gun point, I will accept that Arcane Resilience is here to stay, but at least please don't make it a pre-requisite to a more useful filler point talent.

Thanks.

PS. While you're at it, could you ask them whether the resist in Elemental Precision refers to +hit resists or resistance? Thanks.

Well, during the talent review, Arcane Resilience quickly earned the distinction from the community of crummiest talent evar. That it did not change states the entire time might say something about the devs decision to have this as is. It's only a point and an easy pre-req if you intend on Arcane Mind in the first place.

Elemental Precision works with +hit mechanics. This is basically the current verbiage for such effects. Spell penetration tooltips should be phrased a little differently. Example:

  • Reduces your target's resistance to all spells (spell penetration)

  • Reduces the chance that your opponent can resist spells (+hit mechanics)
If we don't expect, we have all things
