So, assuming that GameTooltip:AddFontStrings() would be the magic fixie dust that we've been aft\waiting for to make dynamically created tooltips work, I set out to try this new functions. It turns out that all I managed to do was crash the client with #124 errors. The macros that I tried were the following:
