Subject: Slouken: [BUG] Skills Replace Macros
Hey Slouken, bug report for you.
When a new rank of some skills are trained, the new rank replaces the old one. This is common in melee classes, because the energy/rage cost of the skill doesn't go up with ranks. And the UI is nice enough to replace any action bar slots filled with the old rank with the new one.
Problem is, it does that a little too much. I haven't tested extensively to find which of these conditions causes it, but if I make a macro named after a spell, with the same icon as the spell, and set the macro body correct to have the action button show the cooldown for that spell, it will get replaced with a new rank. For example, make a macro, 'Maul', with the Maul icon, and a body of '/cast Maul \n /say Blah!', it will get replaced when I get a new rank of Maul. Please fix, so I can stop naming my macros 'Maúl' and such. :)
