Subject: Fix for Blizz mistake?
I am looking for a way to disable a recent Blizz change.

From the latest patch notes:
Items on the action bar now remain there even after they are consumed.

Pre-patch:
Used up the last of your item from a stack, item dissapears from your hotbar/hotkeys. To get use of an item, you have to drag a new stack of that item or a different item to your hotbar.

Post-patch:
Used up the last of your item from a stack, and it vaguely greys out but stays on the hotbar/hotkey, not making it clear that the items in question are actually not available. Furthermore, and this just adds to the idiocy, when you replentish the item, THE HOTBAR IS STILL GREYED OUT. This is particularly stupid if you have the interface option "lock toolbars" turned on, as you must then turn of the option, drag the greyed out item off yer toolbar, then replace it. You can't just drag over the old item with the new item of the same type, it doesn't work.

How can I change the UI to use the old, far superior, functionality?

The bug with the items not updating when you get new items in your bags is fixed for 1.7, BTW.
