I'm sorry if this is considered a troll post since it doesn't bring anything valuable to the class, but i just wanted to cheer you up =)
I believe that following the past events, you have showed more interest in our class than any other CRs i've met in other MMOs.
You are offering what so many of us here were wating for: Communication :)
Also, keep in mind that many of us know that you are just a messenger. We do understand that you cannot have all the answers answered as fast as we would like. We do know that you can't give orders to the dev team.
Please don't hate all of us because a few ignorant people flame and openly insult you ! ;)
Most of us really appreciate your work. Like someone stated before, people, including me, tend to post more rants than thanks :/
Oh and btw this isn't a pathetic /flirt attempt to get your phone number, i'm not into Taurens ;)
So i'll give you a good /bow
Keep up the good work :)
P.S: mmm...so what race is your hunter ? ^^[ post edited by Sherpak ]

Q u o t e: Community -> Devs, Step One:
I know that Cay came and asked for the Hunter issues - twice! The lists were made into stickies and can be found here:
https://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-hunter&t=179347&p=1&tmp=1#post179347
and here:
https://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-hunter&t=181390&p=1&tmp=1#post181390
Two major concerns that were brought up repeatedly were 1) Hunter's lack of desirability in groups, and 2) Pets lack of use in the end-game. You can read the threads if you don't believe me, but really now, who's going to dispute that?
Community -> Devs, Step Two:
A patch was released which *made both issues worse*. DPS - the Hunter's main "contribution" to the group - took a hit. And pets took a hit.
So, what does this prove? Well, it proves that the Devs lack understanding about the issues that are most important to the Hunter community. And whose job is it to communicate the Hunter community's issues to the Devs? Whose job did not get done?
At the time I posted the Hunter feedback requests the patch was on the Test Realm. At that point, major changes are probably not going to be implemented to a patch. Any crash bugs, etc. yes, but more content (i.e. class changes) will probably not be added at that point since the content of the patch is solidified. You can believe me or not as is your wont -- since I'm aware nothing but results will convince you -- but after I got the initial Hunter reaction to the patch notes, I did in fact take your concerns to the developers and explain why you were distressed about certain changes. I came back with their response.
Please understand that I am doing everything in my power to be your advocate behind the scenes. I can be loud and belligerent if need warrants, though I also do not wish to ruin my repoire with the developers (speaking with them in a friendly fashion gets far more done in the long run than yelling at them, as a general rule). However, that advocation may not get a patch completely changed once it's locked down.
I do not have a high level Hunter yet, this is true. However, my regular nightly group on my main does have one Hunter in it, and he shares a great deal of his concerns. I am able to see how a high-level Hunter performs in groups. No, it isn't as intimate as playing the class at that point first-hand, but I'm trying to get there. I am sorry that no one on the Community Team has a Hunter as their main (there are five of us and nine classes, so unfortunately some are excluded from that status -- we level alts to help our understanding as much as we're able) but I am doing the best I can using every tool in my arsenal.
