Subject: CM's at work or at play?
CM's play this game like the rest of us I'm sure.

What I wonder though is, do they play anonymously? Am I grouping with a CM and just don't know it? Are they in guilds? Do we play with them and not even know it?

This is of course with their regular characters. I know they don't go in game with their blue toons.

For instance, I doubt Coriel or Drysc are actual names on a server with actual toons running around questing. But I am sure that they have toons called something else that they do play.

It would be terrific if a certain blue would come out of the closet so to say. It would add some excitement the next time I ran a pug with my alts.

We play under many names in many places. We don't tell people for many reasons. It's better for us to experience things unfiltered when playing with others. It's also better for us not to be known so we aren't deluged with a ton of tells asking us questions, venting concerns or anything else. ;) We do play for our own enjoyment as well as for work related purposes so keeping some separation does help.

Q u o t e:
So basicly i could be best friends with a CM or a GM (on wow) and not even know it...thats cool ..but its gotta be hard to not tell someone u like playing with

What's most tempting is when you hear people discussing something work related and you want to respond but don't want to give yourself away. ;) It would be a bit too obvious to say "I know 'x' is false because uh yeah.. um.. a friend of mine knows someone that works with someone at Blizzard." It takes some restraint at times to just let conversations take their course.

Q u o t e:
let me ask u this cm .. if you are playing your own character for fun and you have someone pissing you off .. do you actually go ahead and ban them and remove there stuff or something like that?

Never. If someone does something that goes against TOS or there is a game issue, we report it like everyone else.

A lot of these questions have been answered before but we have people that are in end-game guilds as well as more casual, some that are very into PvP and others that aren't as much. I personally haven't been using mods for awhile because I like to see what the base interface can do and try to use it to its fullest. This way if something is lacking I can say so or if I like something new, I can say so.

Neth has anyone ever bad mouthed the CMs while you were in a party and you had to just sit there and take it?

No, thankfully that hasn't happened but there have been other interesting conversations I've quite enjoyed. ;)
