Subject: Concern about Bloodlust
I have posted something similar last night - but it was poorly thought out, and mostly structured around general annoyance and some worry as well.

According to the preview - Bloodlust is an ability that increases a party's Melee Attack and Casting Speeds. This is a good buff - but there's one small problem.

Hunters do not benefit from Bloodlust in its current previewed state. It is a problem because currently we're having issues with our DPS being subpar when compared to Rogues and Mages in encounters where the goal is to kill the enemy as quickly as possible. With Bloodlust increasing Melee (Rogue) and Casting (Mages) Speeds, that same DPS gap will increase more, therefore leaving Hunters in a situation where they're only going to be brought to raids for Tranquilizing Shots.

Is this a typo in the preview? Did they forget about ranged attacks when they wrote it up? Or is the final goal for this ability to make it worthwhile for all classes except for one?

The Shaman ability Bloodlust that's being introduced with the Burning Crusade, to my knowledge (and experience playing on internal expansion builds) will haste casting speed, melee attack as well as ranged attack. I believe it was simply an error that such was left of the referenced article.

I can confirm this either way early next week.
