Subject: To report or not report, that is the Q
Question: You guys want us to report the cheaters, botters, autobots when we see them? or you dont? Which is it?

Seriously, should i continue to report the obvious bots in game as i run across them? or should i just be quiet and play my own quiet game?

Everytime ive reported a bot you guys say it is much appreciated, yada yada yada, keep reporting them, good job, the works.
But lately it seems like you guys dont even wanna hear it, like its a problem way out of control, and the only thing important is the impression, perception, people have of whats going on, and not the actual problem.

So, some sort of blue, official, something, response would be appreciated, Do you guys want us to continnue to report the obvious cheaters, the autobots, or just leave it alone?

Researching possible bots and cheaters can take some time. We have a team that does this. There are thousands of possible bots and cheaters reported every day. Each claim is seriously looked into which means each and every report. We don't want to needlessly ban anyone and would prefer to take a little bit of time to properly investigate an account before we do so.

As you can see by the recent mass bannings we did, we take this very seriously. The process may not go as fast as some people may wish but there is a method to the madness and it is something that we remain vigilant about.

Just keep in mind hacks@blizzard.com exists too :]

We've been actually told to redirect people to here now:

http://www.blizzard.com/support/?id=eHacks000 (do NOT post them on this forum - we are forced to take action)

It's a better means for us to keep track of the reports.

You can submit a GM ticket or use the link to the input form that I posted here (which is also in the information sticky at the top of the page.)
