Has it ever occured to you that blizzard will not even post in these threads. How come they don't "Stamp" threads. (It has been suggested many times that they "stamp" threads that seem like hopeful ideas, but they didn't take the idea.) What kind of proof do you have that the devs are actually taking your ideas into their thoughts? Face reality, this "Suggestion" forum gives bored, and optomistic people people something to do. The future for this forum is dull, if not dead.
It has even been stated before that blizzard doesn't even want suggestions. Why does the forum exist?

From one of our FAQs:
Q u o t e: We appreciate the time and energy people put into making suggestions for our current and future games. Our company policy, however, prevents us from accepting for review any unsolicited ideas. Often in our industry, an idea being submitted will be identical or similar to one already used by other companies, or already being independently developed by or for a company. Therefore, Blizzard Entertainment® has adopted the unalterable policy of refusing to accept or look at any unsolicited submissions or ideas. You can post your suggestions to our Suggestions Forum.

Q u o t e: I remember a bite sized issue thread where they said that blizzard doesn't want suggestions. So, was he/she lying?
Bite-sized, eh? I remember that. I wanted feedback for the thread, not suggestions for the thread. My comments dealt with a particular thread, not the forums in general.
Perhaps I can paraphrase the policy statement:
Q u o t e: Our company policy, however, prevents us from accepting for review any unsolicited ideas.
Company policy says that we can't acknowledge the player who says "Hey Blizz, I got this great idea you should use". Because we did not ask for it directly, it is unsolicited.
Q u o t e: Often in our industry, an idea being submitted will be identical or similar to one already used by other companies, or already being independently developed by or for a company.
There are a number of reasons why what a player may be suggesting is actually intellectual property of us or someone else. There aren't many ways to tell, so err on the side of caution.
Q u o t e: Therefore, Blizzard Entertainment® has adopted the unalterable policy of refusing to accept or look at any unsolicited submissions or ideas.
As a general rule, this will not change. It further reinforces that we can not reply or "stamp" threads, as that becomes an acceptance or acknowledgement of looking.
Yeah, it works on faith. It requires the belief that your ideas may inspire decision, but there is no venue by which you can submit something for tacit approval from us.
It's about influencing game design rather than dictating it.

Q u o t e: It's funny, before the druid review, druids were the weakest, most pathetic class in the game.
I remember seeing a post about a new 31 pt feral talent called "protector of the pack" or something. It was a group aura that increased the group's damage/defense depending on the form the druid is in.
The new druid 31 pt talent is leader of the pack, which increases crit chance of the druid's group.
I doubt that's a coincidence.
I don't believe in coincidence, personally.
Sure, the underlying reason may be mundane to some, but it's still a reason of interconnectivity.
What interests me about this topic is the amount of control some want to exert. A lack of control can be discomforting to some and it can be hard to go into areas of fuzzy thinking when you don't have a certain control. People want the time invested into a post to give a tangible return.
Not saying it's wrong, but it is very wierd to me as I look at issues of ownership in a very loose way. I guess by loose I mean somewhat non-existant.
Ownership is a bit of an illusion.

Q u o t e: So what you are saying is that I could take your car/motorcycle/tricycle and you would have no issue. Since ownership is just an illusion. Right? Or are you just putting out drivel because its fun?
No, what I'm saying is that the car/motorcycle/tricycle does not change when you apply a label of ownership. The object does not change at all, only your relationship to it.
That relationship, in a forum setting, is dangerous, unstable and usually not very productive. People end up fighting over who is right, rather than talking about the actual subject.
