So everyone is angry that there are now alliance shamans and horde paladins? Its the horde whiners fault.
They kept on complaining on the general forum so much about how there was a big raiding imbalance between Alliance and Horde. This was going on for so long that Blizzard came up with the solution. You guys can now have paladins so fix the imbalance. Its the horde complainers fault who made Blizzard do this.

Actually, the 'Horde whiners' as you put it are merely symptomatic of the underlying root of the issue. Competing design methods caused an unconscious recognition which resulted in players arguing at cross-purposes.
Removing said 'whiners' would have merely generated a new batch arguing similar purposes.
Address the root cause and we have the advantage of relieving symptoms.[ post edited by Tseric ]

So, you wanted to be unique, yet be compared to another class.
As of today, I have still not seen a single post in opposition to this change that does not compare the shaman to the paladin, but judges the class on its own merits and abilities. This further proves the point we are making.

Closer towards Beta. If I had to ETA it, I would say we'll be talking about new abilities and spells in about 3 weeks, mebbe less.
