So. i've accpeted Belf pally, and bluebarrie shamans. i got the whole forsaken in the horde thing. i get metzen made a mistake with bluebarrie lore, but i still like his choice
But. If illidan is suppose to be the big baddy for BC. what are the Befl's suppose to do.. they server under him, it's not like 40 man belf raids are gonan go and kill their leader or something.
and this raises other questions, if thrall knew the BE leader illidan, there's no way he woulda let them join.
Somethin is either ignored.. or blizz is plannin something sweet.

Some of your confusion may stem from the fact that the leader of the Blood Elves is Kael'Thas Sunstrider, not Illidan.
