Subject: Raid Size Increase
With the increase in classes on both sides, will the size of raids increase as well?
PvPer from the old days. Miss the risk :(

We don't have any plans to increase the raid size for expansion. If anything we're focused on creating smaller player capped raid dungeons for the Burning Crusade as we've stated as early as when we hosted the BlizzCon event.

Q u o t e:
Good thing Blizz never changes its mind about content changes!

You know, many things wouldn't exist if we didn't change our mind concerning the direction and evolution of our design in specific areas. To name a couple -- Trolls and Gnomes. Originally we wanted to ship the game with six races. We simply cannot continue to create content for this game without a passionate desire to improve upon certain elements of game play. Decisions where we feel the need to drastically change an element of the game because we feel strongly that it's beneficial to everyone as a whole are tough to make because human beings are resistant to change. However, we can't let the fear and speculation of our player base deter us from making a change which will have a positive effect. We can try to help some of you understand why the was made though, which is what I've been working to do all morning.

The fact is, what we're doing here is positive. If it wasn't, we wouldn't do it. Sure, some flavor distinction is being lost concerning the two factions. Other distinctions exist and still more will become present as new content is released. What's important is realizing that much more is being gained, and when you're playing the Burning Crusade and engaging in the new available content you'll quickly realize that this was the best possible course of action.

Guess what, you'll likely be having a lot of fun despite which side of the fence you're currently on at the moment as a result of the announcement.
