Subject: Jewelcrafting Mats Question
Does anyone know for sure what gems will be used for jewelcrafting? Will any of the existing gems be used or will there be a whole new class of items to have to go farm? I think name almost implies that things like emerelds, opals, rubies, jades, etc would be used to make faceted gems for socketing, but before I dedicate a toon just to hold my excess gems for the patch, I'd like some info on this...

Existing gems will be used, as well as new types. However, this is not an across-the-board statement and some existing gems may not be used.

I'm sure you can appreciate why I can not tell you which gems will be used.
The path of least resistance tempts all ramblers.
