Subject: Please Explain Something Probably Very Basic
   Hey Folks,

I am not 100% familiar with the "twinking" process that goes on with some characters; however, I figure that it is simply higher level mains giving their lower level alts better gear or gold.

If I have two characters on the same server can I mail gold from my main to my alt? The reason that I ask is that I want to be more of an effective tank than a healer/tank. My Pally has 20g that I would like to not goto waste. Can I mail the gold to my Warrior alt?

Regards,
Cake

   Absolutely.

Common practice of many is to create an alt purely for the purpose of storage. "Bank alts" or "Mules", as the parlance goes, can serve as a depot for items that a main character may not be able to fit into their bank or bags. Mail is the primary connection between characters.

Q u o t e:
Does the fact that most players need to have bank alts point out a problem with the game's storage allotment to the developers?

Not as much as it illustrates the player's desire to hoard as much as possible. ;)

you fail ...

again

thanks for making light of a serious problem. We have stacks up to 20 and keyrings for those hoarding jerk players now...oh why must the forum goers bother the busy CMs so??

More bank space or more creatve means of storage please for all our different stupid resist gear please.

Or you could take a step in the right direction and change this into a real MMORPG instead of gear based game. Then you wouldn't have to chastize players hoarding.

For the hoarde!

Actually, it is a very serious answer. You might have missed the meaning in your attempt to be offended.

Players will always want more inventory space, always. Adding more space, players will fill up that space with more selection of items. It doesn't matter how big the bath tub is, it will always be filled with water.

Q u o t e:
I personally hate the micro-storage game I'm forced to play between my main, alts, my inventory and the bank. Are any plans underway to review this system?

We often review inventory space and it is something kept in mind generally. In the recent past, we have made several changes and additions to facilitate inventory space or management. Key rings, profession-specific bags, stacking rules and limits as a few examples.
