On July 10, 2006, The Malfurion realm crashed just as we killed chrom. in BWL. The server shut down during the loot and when was brought back online, the corpse and all epics were gone. Anybody have this happen to them? Is there a way to be re-imbursed for the lost items??

I'd recommend contacting a GameMaster (using the in-game petition system). There are circumstances that allow them to restore items, although it's not necessarily always possible, for instance if the appropriate logs are unable to verify the specific occurance of item loss being reported.
