Why in the hell even show us server shutdown 15:00 when the 5:00 minute warning happens 10 seconds later, and then the server just shutsdown. Is there any point to this other than to piss people off? I'd be less angry if you just shut the god damn thing down, not give me a 5 second warning.
No doubt we will of course be rolled back, the quests we just completed in ST (the egg event no less) will be gone.

When a restart is issued on a realm the fifteen minute shutdown message displays, regardless of the following action. It's built into the shutdown process. So, if the maintenance is very urgent and the realms need to be brought down within five minutes, you'll first see the fifteen minute message broadcast, followed immediately by the five.
It's important to note that it's always our intention to provide at least fifteen minutes of warning before restarting a realm or bringing it down for maintenance. Unfortunately, certain matters are far too urgent and demand immediate attention, and for that we apologize.
