So, I have a lot to do and not a lot of individual playtime. I want to get involved in the Scourge Invasion, but I'm worried that I'll have to put it off and will miss most of it. Does anyone know how long this event is supposed to last? NPCs hint at "winning a war", so it seems it might take a certain number of successes to end the event. Any idea how many? Is there some idea how long this event will last>?

The event has the potential to last for a couple weeks, but depending on how voraciously your realm is fending off the invasion it may be finished a bit sooner. You can speak to the Argent Dawn stationed in all major cities for progress updates on how the war is progressing, and they may give some insight as to how far along you may be.
