I was just wondering if the CM's could perhaps let the community know a day or two in advance next time new servers are being released.
I know there's been a couple of times in the past where a message was stickied saying new servers will be coming on so and so day.
This way people can prepare for them and get the names they would like when it opens. I understand that there may be short notice involved some of the time, but if it's known ahead of time would a day or two notice be reasonable?

This has its' plusses and minuses both. As you say in your post it would make it very easy for people to anticipate when to expect the new server so that they can try to get their chosen character name. On the other hand, it would also make it very easy for the login queues to balloon up making that very idea even harder for people as well.
It's a double edged sword that can be either very good or very bad depending on if you are one of the people that is able to hop right in from the start or if you are one of the people attempting to hop in and unable to.
We'll keep your request in mind however and see if it is something we would like to do more often. (If you recall the new Oceanic realms were announced ahead of time.)
