Subject: For the love of sanity what were you thinking
When you guys thought up the joined flight path system?

It is completely screwed up. The flight paths are absoutely terrible. Why in the world do I need to fly to Orgrimmar, when I am in Bloodvenom Post and want to fly to Splintertree post? That foolishness makes the flight path 3x longer. For you Alliance people, think of if there were a flight path in Goldshire and you were in Stormwind. To fly to the other, you'd have to path through Sentinal Hill. Thus making the whole thing completely pointless.

The joined flight paths needs to be removed or made reasonable. This is just an example. There are many other extremely poor flight paths.

The linked flight path system uses the same flight paths that you have always taken, and that have existed previously. What the linked flight path system does, and all it does, is to make it more convenient by not stopping at each point and requiring the player to talk to each flight master. If you have any suggestions for new flight paths you are more than welcome to do so; however the linked flight path system is not intended to shorten or change existing flight paths, but merely link them together for ease of use.

Q u o t e:
They still need fixing. As amusing as it is when my bat does a 960 in place to fly another direction.. It's just silly.

That's fine, but your complaint actually has nothing to do with the linked flight path feature. I would recommend making any suggestions you may have in the Suggestions forum.
