A very simple request for Blizzard from the long-suffering Warlocks. (I'm referring to the silence from Blizzard, not power.)
Do you plan on revisiting some of the Warlock's abilities (i.e. Death Coil) and talent trees (i.e. Affliction) before the expansion pack? It is the belief of many -- not just Warlocks -- that Death Coil was a bandaid to compensate for some serious and deep-seated issues with the class. (No other reliable escape mechanism besides Death Coil, relial on DD rather than trademark DoT and debuffs, etc...)
All we need is a 1-character answer to quench our thirst for some tender loving care. Refer to the guide and enter the appropriate number.
1: Almost certainly yes
2: It's possible
3: I really don't know
4: It's not all that likely
5: It's extremely unlucky
One character required to hopefully slow the tide of "Please look at Warlocks!" threads...[ post edited by Segojan ]

So, I respec'ed my lock recently from a MS/Ruin to a SM/Ruin. Yeah, 30/0/21, so I could see why everybody says affliction is a broken tree. Not seeing it yet. Sure, it's a different play style than my old Demo spec, but I am adjusting to drain tanking nicely and a lot of good things are coming out of the Affliction tree. Nightfall has been working out pretty well and siphon life is giving me more returns on my DoTs, which I like. Now, I don't run a damage meter, but I estimate at least 600 dmg/sec which I can accelerate up to in about 4 seconds(darn global cooldowns). Anyways...
There are some considerations to take a look at some of the talents with the class, but finding the time is the key element at this point. The devs have been working hard on a lot of class issues, so the probability is pretty good. I guess I would really answer 2.
Q u o t e: some serious and deep-seated issues with the class
And what would those be exactly? If you say Inferno and Doomguard, I'll be really disappointed.

Oh, I forgot to mention...
While this patch isn't going to bring any brand new shinies to the class, the devs focused a bit on fixing some bugs with the class and correcting some functionality. Next patch we can see if Warriors and Warlocks might get a little more talent attention. Again, it's a maybe, but the chances are growing.

Q u o t e: er I mean..
Debuff priority (We know it's in partially, completion = /happy)
It's coming along nicely, yes.
Q u o t e: Debuff removal (Dispells can utterly torch the ability of a few specs. Try SM-DS in PvP against a team with a competent priest or paladin if you don't mind crying)
I don't disagree that can be frustrating, but debuffs in PvP have to face such counters. If they have a skillful dispeller, that's simply going to be their advantage.
Q u o t e: Worthless talents (A quick fix would be to ditch the talents *absolutely* no one should take. Can provide a list if you need, it's fairly short)
I think the community can agree that there are a good deal of unchosen or unused talents, but more so for players at 60. Again, we can look to see if some adjustment can be made.
Q u o t e: Pie (Current pie on the warlock forums is not as tasty as it should be)
I'll work on that. Rhubarb, perhaps.
