Subject: Realm Issues 5/16/06
   UPDATE 10:35 PM 5/16

Our network operations team is continuing to work with AT&T on the performance issues that are affecting a number of realms. We are currently seeing a slight improvement in performance and we will be continuing to monitor them until the issue has subsided.

UPDATE 10:01 PM 5/16

Our network operations team has informed us that they are now working with AT&T on this issue. We are continuing to monitor the situation and we will provide another update in approximately 30 minutes.

9:45 PM 5/16

We are aware that a number of realms are experiencing performance issues. Our network operations team has been alerted and we are beginning our normal tracking procedure. We will provide an update in approximately 30 minutes.

Some of the regulars on the Technical Support forum seem to think the login problem is a Comcast issue, and to be truthful, it wouldn't be the first time, or third, or fifth, or tenth.

If you are using Comcast you may want to contact them or visit the technical support forums to at least communicate with other users with the same issue. Aside from a possibly slight delay in authentication I'm not aware of any login issues, this appears to simply be poor timing for an overlap of problems.

Our network operations team is continuing to monitor all realms for lingering performance issues and we are continuing to see overall improvements. We will be continuing to watch them closely for any possible relapse. Currently we are anticipating the improvement in performance to continue and we will now only provide updates if any further issues arise.
