The realms currently down share a common database, and while we have narrowed the corruption down to a few specific realms it is unfortunately necessary that the entire database (and the realms attached to it) remain down.

Q u o t e:
I swear I've seen that before somewhere...

go go copy+paste!

Drysc previously answered, "The realms are attached by a common database, and while we have been able to narrow down the data corruption to a few specific realms it is unfortunately necessary that all realms attached to the database with the corrupted data be down."

We can't help that specific questions demand a specific answer. Would you prefer we give a meaning that's untrue just so it's not perceived as a "cut 'n paste" response?

Q u o t e:
mind if i ask what caused the corruption in the first place and ask if blizz is able to stop it from occuring on other servers?

The cause was a hardware failure which resulted in corrupted data being written to an archive database.

Hmm, indeed...

Would standardizing the bioneural phase varience of the randomization circuitry stabilize the strength of the tachyon warp array, restoring the disfunctional servers, I wonder?

Unfortunately the bi-flux power converter is in an array with a dilithium phase shifter, which as I am sure you are aware can be quite unstable when attempting any type of Class 2 standardizing regardless of phase variance.
