I know that alot of mages are angry. The problem was that the long wait drew great expectations. It was clear from the start that Blizzard was reviewing the classes in order from "most in need or work" to "least in need of work".
What did the mages expect, new god-like powers?
Shaman should expect the same kind of review as the mages and pallys, and the rogues even less since they come last.
The new interesting point now is what will Blizzard do about Warriors and Warlocks, who never got their full review.
As for the post with the title: "Blizz need to listen to their playerbase", I say NAY!
If blizzard caves in to the balance demand of the players, the game will fail. Period.
Now, please give us the Shaman review!

Q u o t e: I was unaware of the confirmation about shatter. However, this still does not address the two major factors that were originally mentioned for the mage review: Aggro management and survivability.
Where are our new talents to improve these?
Arcane subtlety affects all schools and adds spell penetration and reduced threat.
Arcane resilience adds armor to the mage equal to 50% of intellect.
These are each examples of aggro management and survivability, respectively.
edit - changed from spirit to intellect.[ post edited by Tseric ]
