Subject: "World is Toy" aspect?
I just want to direct your attention to this page of the WoW website:

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/pvp/pvp-article.html

They basically explain that have 3 major aspects of WoW which are PvE (dungeons/raiding/questing), PvP and the "World is Toy" aspect.

"The second component is what we internally call the "World is Toy" aspect: making sure there are plenty of things to do in the world that are fun but that have nothing to do with character advancement.

So is there any content for this aspect in the game? If so can anyone point me to it? I'm sitting here trying to figure out any and I can't. Has Blizzard completely scrapped this idea?

Q u o t e:
Although these are all fun, they all still are connected to character development. "World of Toy" refers to fun things to do that "have nothing to do with character advancement."

At best, they are loosely connected. Are you going to say the fishing event is character advancement, as you have to level up the skill and acquire good gear for the task? Bit of a stretch, don't you think?
