Subject: Blizzard Pleae read this!!!
Ok blizzard its time you start looking at the majority instead of the minority. The casual gamers is what fuels the monthly payments blizzard, it is not he 13 year old kids who dont have a life. Its not the few college crack heads that dont study and can afford to fail out a semester or two. And lastly its not the adults that draw a welfare check who make up the majority of your subscription base. The majority of us are hard working people who have a life outside of your universe. World of Warcraft promised us an MMO that would be a casual universe, a place that could be conquered in many small increments of time. Have you given anything to this population base? NO!!!! Everything that has came in patches has been 40 man content, and I do mean everything. The honor system!!!what a joke. You have to sit down for 3 solid months and do nothing, but run ab,av or wsg for 15 hours a day. Who wants to do this? Who could afford to do this? The way everything has been implemented into the game is just an outlandish joke. Its like you guys want to weed out the casual gamers that this game was suppose to be built around. And guess what!!! I believe you are paying for it in reviews and bad press.

Why is raiding so bad? Because you have to schedule your entire life around a game. So mom calls you to come have supper. You say no mom I cant attend Im playing a game. Mom calls the next day, no mom MC is tonight I cant attend supper. The next day mom dont call, because mom is dead, and you have went 2 years without speaking to her because you had your nose buried in a fake world with a bunch of people who have no real life. Then reality hits you. You have lost approximately 17520 hours of your life to a computer game.

I love warcraft as much as anyone, but I realize I have responsibilities a wife, a kid, a job, and school. Just like most of your population base blizzard. If you dont start catering to our needs your going to loose us. Ive held on to you about as long as I can.

Now you lame trogss can start flaming me!! Telling how I need to quit and casuals suck and this and that. Most of you people are morons and the rest of you are just too young and ignorant to realize my point. But at any rate go ahead!!!

You have created an exemplary post of what not to do when providing feedback. Let me illustrate:
  • You demand attention in the subject line.
  • Ageism in the second and third sentence.
  • What do welfare recipients have to do with this?
  • excessive use of absolute terms, which do not reflect a critical, but objective approach. "Have you given anything to this population base? NO!!!!"
  • Assuming everyone thinks like you and agrees with your opinion, except, of course, the people you are railing against.
  • Use of an unrealistic and highly improbable hypothetical to play on emotion.
  • Attempts to raise yourself above others by way of "having responsibilities".
  • Closing arguments contain nothing more than insults.

In short, this is not something that I could reasonably approach anyone in the company with. Shorter, even, this is not useful feedback.

    Q u o t e:
And yet you responded to the post Tseric. I see plenty of well-reasoned posts expressing the concerns of more casual players. I never see blue posting in those threads. I never see blue responding to the substantive concerns. Instead, blue only seems to respond to the belligerent trolls, and only then to shoot down the trolls. (Who, by the way, don't care they they've been shot down, as they only wanted attention from blue in the first place, which you have oblingingly given.)

It provides an opportunity to explain what is expected on some level from our end. Good conversations and useful feedback often do not require a blue response, but are instead pulled straight from the boards and passed on directly to the developers.

There are limited options for changing poor posting habits. Suspensions often don't carry a clear message. Calculated responses do.
