In addition to the authentication delay some users are encountering, we just experienced an ISP-related networking issue that contributed to the disconnection of players across specific realms. We're in the process of working with our service provider to help avoid further issues, and we'll keep everyone posted if another such incident occurs.

*Update*
Our ISP has confirmed that there was a loss of network connection this evening that impacted a fair number of World of Warcraft realms. They do not foresee any further connection issues at this time, but we'll continue to monitor our own services and provide additional updates should any related issues arise.[ post edited by Drysc ]
