Each patch, whether or not we add content for those that raid introduce a number of features and improvements specifically designed to be taken advantage by all types of players. To name a few recent examples:
New Dungeon 2 Armor Set Quests
Weather
Improved Repeatable Reputation Quests
Improved Flight Path System
Dressing Room Feature
Quest Experience to Gold Conversion at Level 60
New Profession Recipes
We're dedicated to making World of Warcraft fun for everyone. We tend to focus on areas which are lacking, such as what you've seen with recent raid dungeon additions. And as we've stated on numerous occasions, for the Burning Crusade expansion our focus will be in creating smaller winged dungeons that we think players will really enjoy.
Guys, beyond this I must now officially insist that you stop using our boards as a means to attack members of our design team. If these types of conversations could exist without players making false claims or spreading misinformation about our game designers or organization, I'd be all for it - but every single thread that touches upon this, or a similar matter, has as proven otherwise.
The designers mentioned in this thread are responsible for much more than what some of you are crediting them for, and to be blunt, without them or the collective talent, dedication and hard work of our entire design team, World of Warcraft would not be the great game it is today.
Play the game, enjoy it. Use these boards if you wish to provide us feedback. However. flame members of our team and you will lose the privilege to post on our boards. I'm sorry, but repeated attempts by certain unscrupulous players to represent those designing this game falsely has forced a more proactive and stern approach to the situation."
It seems your team doesn't like people flaming them. I agree. Yet I feel compelled to ask, where does that line get drawn. Is pointing out what some would consider very obvious flaws with World of Warcraft be "flaming"?
I say this with the most respect, as I'm simply confused. Players play this game and pay for this game, some of us..while an overall minority like to come to these forums to discuss what we like and don't like about the game overall in hopes that our comments don't fall on deaf ears.
Now for what I wanted to comment on:
New Dungeon 2 Armor Set Quests
Can re-hashing the same exact graphics from the Dungeon 1 set, and then nerfing the dungeon 1 set bonuses, and finally throwing some Lv 50 epics in there really be considered "new" by the development team?
Weather
Agreed. I love this. It really brings out the feeling of actually "being there" in the game. I just hope in the coming patches that weather gets added to more areas as has been stated.
Improved Repeatable Reputation Quests
Do you guys truly consider reputation grind quests to be fun casual content?
Improved Flight Path System
Everyone I've talked to in game LOVES this new feature. So do I.
Dressing Room Feature
Same with this. It's great to be able to see what an item looks like before you bid/buy it.
Quest Experience to Gold Conversion at Level 60
New Profession Recipes
We're dedicated to making World of Warcraft fun for everyone. We tend to focus on areas which are lacking, such as what you've seen with recent raid dungeon additions.
Ok, yet if that's true I need to ask this. Do you guys STILL see the raid dungeons as "lacking"? That's always been the reason you guys have used when you add a raid dungeon...then another.....then another... Are raiders completely done with BWL and AQ40 to the point that adding Naxx is vital? All the while non-raiders (notice, I don't say casual) get what? Reduced caps on their instances and the promise of new 5-10 man instances in the expansion?
I think there's a fine line between being disrespectful to the team and just pointing out precieved flaws with the direction WoW is going and moreso, the lack of proper communication with the playerbase.

Q u o t e: Nope, that is what he should have said. What he actually said was every single poster is incapable of criticizing WoW without flaming the design team:
I'd agree that the number of flames outweigh the constructive criticism, but "every single thread"? Its bull$!@%, plain and simple. I sincerely hope that was written in the heat of the moment and not what he actually believes, otherwise it is completely pointless to provide any sort of feedback whatsoever.
You've clearly read my statement wrong, friend. I stated that the topic which I posted in was not capable of being had due to the flame degradation that always ends up dominating these types of discussion.
There was no heat of the moment. However, I'd wonder if such is the case with your reaction, in rearranging the intended meaning of my response.
To the original poster or anyone else that's confused. There is not a fine line between flames and feedback. It's very obvious. I'm more than willing to educate players that cross over the subtle lines, or pass into grey area, but if you're unclear of the difference between attempting to provide something of value, and attempting to hurt others, you may want to spend some time in deep thought.
I'd also highly suggest reviewing our Terms of Use agreement.
